I’m Damien Sobha, a game developer, software engineer, and full-stack developer based in the UK. Originally from Mauritius and raised in Manchester, I cultivated my passion for creating immersive, story-driven experiences while studying game development at the University of Sunderland.

I specialise in Unity development, backend systems, and web technologies, with a strong focus on DevOps, API integration, and AR/VR. As the founder of Fallen Games Studio, I lead an independent studio dedicated to crafting atmospheric, narrative-driven horror games for Steam and itch.io. My mission is to blend creativity and technology to develop meaningful digital experiences that resonate with players and leave a lasting impression.

Game Development

VR/AR

Explored the design and programming of virtual reality experiences. Focused on user immersion, interactivity, and spatial design using Unity and C#. Developed small-scale VR environments that emphasised intuitive controls and presence.

C++ 

Strengthened understanding of programming logic and memory management. Applied object-orientated principles such as inheritance and polymorphism to build performance-focused applications and gameplay systems.

Finals Project

A single-player 3D fantasy RPG developed as my final-year project. Features a dynamic combat system, quest progression, and spell-based abilities. Showcased my full development pipeline experience in Unity, from AI programming to level and UI design.
